Yes! The folding mechanism is one of the most important (and unique) parts of a Brompton. If your bike feels stiff when folding, misaligned, or doesn’t lock securely, we can inspect and adjust the hinge clamps, rear triangle and alignment points to restore smooth operation. Regular servicing helps prevent wear in these areas, but if something feels “off”, it’s best to get it checked early. A properly maintained Brompton should fold easily and feel secure when locked into place.
