In our Brompton Complete Service, all the components will be removed, deep-cleaned in our eco-friendly parts washer, and carefully refitted.

As part of our cleaning process:

• The frame, forks, and hinge mechanisms are thoroughly cleaned and inspected.
• The drivetrain is removed, cleaned, and reassembled for optimal performance.

We will also do our best to clean your Brompton bicycle as best as we can.

Technical:

As part of this Brompton bike repair service, we will also ensure the technical aspects of your Brompton bicycle are working properly.

In this service:

• A full safety check is carried out, including Brompton-specific folding mechanisms and joints.
• Every bolt is inspected and tightened, with particular attention to hinge bolts and folding components.
• Frame and forks are checked for damage or wear, focusing on high-stress areas like hinges.
• Wheels and tyres are inspected for damage or wear, ensuring Brompton-specific tyres meet safety standards.
• Wheels are trued to maintain balance and smooth folding.
• Chain checked, cleaned, lubricated, and adjusted for optimal drivetrain function.
• Gears are adjusted for precise and reliable shifting, tailored to Brompton’s internal or external gear systems.
• Front and rear brakes are inspected and adjusted, ensuring safe and effective stopping power.
• Hub bearings are checked and adjusted for smooth rotation.
• The headset will be inspected and adjusted for smooth steering and folding.
• The bottom bracket is checked and adjusted to Brompton’s compact design specifications.
• Frame polished – for added shine and protection.
• Brompton decals (stickers) replaced and fitted for a fresh finish.

This service also includes the fitting of brake pads/discs, cables, chains and sprockets. The tyres will also be inflated to the correct pressure for Brompton bikes, ensuring optimal ride quality.
